Fredrick'S Hotel Restaurant Spa Maidenhead, Maidenhead

The hotel was okay overall, but in need of some updates in terms of decor. It was clean, but the rooms didn't have air conditioning, making it uncomfortable during certain activities like massages. On the bright side, the service was excellent and very accommodating. The location was convenient for my needs, though there were some minor issues in specific areas. The dining experience was hit or miss, with room service being a better option at times. The facilities were decent, but some improvements could enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel room was spacious with a queen-size bed but had issues with functionality, and the long wait for the manager's call was frustrating. Although it was amusing to find a Laserdisc player, it was disappointing not to have it working. The service was exceptional with friendly and courteous staff, except for the unavailability of extra beds as requested and a disappointing dining experience with a dirty restaurant during breakfast hours. The location was pleasant for a weekend getaway but needed improvement in cleanliness, while the Junior suite patio was uncomfortable and poorly lit. Despite these drawbacks, the buffet-style dining options were satisfactory. Facilities were average, but there was room for improvement in cleanliness and tidiness.

The suite was a good size with lots of cupboard space, but not the quality expected. The room was initially cold, and we had to ask for heating. While a heater was provided in the bedroom, the bathroom remained freezing, and the radiators never came on. Additionally, there were broken bottles and glasses outside our window, which was a letdown.
